This is a website made to explain to people and update them on what is going on in our class project. We are doing this project with DCU.
What we are doing with DCU
We made websites on the internet site provided by DCU. Other school made them as well.
We look at theirs and make comments on it in their guest book. And they do the same to our site. There is also a discussion page where we post up topic and so don't others. You can respond to the question people ask.
I thought this has been a good idea and I have learned a lot from this.
What are we doing for are project
WE have put a lot of thought into it and have decided to purchase a green cone for the school canteen. A green cone is similar to a compost bin except it can take more waste e.g. Cooked and uncooked meat. We have had to raise money to purchase these with so we decided to do a 12hr fast. It is set for 27/5/04. We have collected over two hundred euro. We have to bring the waste from the canteen to the bin everyday for the next three years. We have set up certain day for these people to bring the waste. We are afraid that what if someone misses a day and someone stands in for them and the next day they refuse to do it. We have discussed this and have assigned two supervisors to sort out this problem. We have got permission from everyone and we hope that people wont get bored of it and not want to do it anymore.
